Exploring the Molecular Machinery of Neurons and Cardiomyocytes

About our research

Our lab is dedicated to understanding the structural and biochemical properties of key proteins involved in the functioning of neurons, cardiomyocytes, and myocytes. We use cutting-edge techniques in structural biology, biochemistry, and molecular genetics to explore how these proteins mediate crucial processes, such as ion channel regulation and signaling pathways. By characterizing protein structures and their interactions at atomic resolution, we aim to uncover the molecular mechanisms underlying neural and cardiac functions, with the goal of contributing to new therapeutic approaches for a wide range of neurological and cardiovascular disorders.
